The group was reminded that we were given our financial resources and entrepreneurial talents to care for those around us, build up local communities, and trust in Divine Providence. We were not called to be stewards of capital just so we could chase fast profits. Unfortunately, all too often, we allow our capital to sit passively in distant financial markets or we use it only for our own selfish gain and short-term efficiency.
All of us must reject that temptation and apply our capital intentionally—investing in tangible assets like land, supporting local businesses, and empowering our employees with financial literacy. True Catholic stewardship is about putting your money to work where it creates real, lasting impact.
