CF Guild Recap: How TridFi Invests in Local Communities by Taking on Banks

Recording + Call Notes from our August 11th CF Guild Meeting (Paid Members Only)

Recently Matthew Gaddis, co-founder of TridFi joined the Guild. Many people expressed interest in what they are doing so we set up a Guild call to cover it.

What we uncovered was epic.

With their consulting side, they help companies get ‘fit financially’ by trimming tons of unneeded expenses and optimizing cash management (among other things).

With that savings, they put the money into a fund that is then used for the local community members to help them knock down their home mortgage interest (among other things).

I really encourage people to listen to this and take serious note about what they are doing because it can serve as a real model for us in other ways in how we run our businesses.

The topic call is a recurring monthly event where we discuss relevant topics about running the business. To join future events, become a member of the Catholic Founders Guild today.

One-Liner Takeaway

For those who aren’t paid members yet, here’s the quick one-liner takeaway:

Usury strips away ownership, and without ownership, business owners and families lose the freedom and creativity required to build a real Catholic culture.

When families and businesses are burdened by usurious debt, personal guarantees, and inefficient cash structures, they become trapped in a state of financial dependency. True Catholic stewardship requires us to move beyond treating profit as the sole endgame; we must optimize our day-to-day operations and cash management so we can protect our assets and build lasting labor covenants. By taking back control of our financial resources, eliminating bad debt, and reinvesting capital directly into local mortgage grants and small businesses, we give our communities the equity, freedom, and stability they need to truly flourish.

Alright, the rest of this session is exclusively for CF Guild members. If you’d like to join future calls, consider upgrading to a paid membership today.

The Catholic Founders Guild is an association of Catholic Biz owners who believe that their business is meant to be an extension of God’s will in the world.

If you share this belief, join today! (PS: It’s only $100 a year or $10 a month, so anyone can afford to join)
