Start Here: About Catholic Founders
Plus, How to Use Substack to Get The Most Out of Catholic Founders
Hey there! 👋
Given the name of this post, this is likely your first time here. Thanks for stopping in.
In this post, we’ll explain the WHY, WHAT, and WHO of Catholic Founders.
WHY Catholic Founders Exists
WHAT We Do
WHO We Are For
WHY Catholic Founders Exists?
To create an army of Catholic business owners who are dedicated to carrying out God’s will in the world.
Business owners have a huge influence on their community (employees, customers, suppliers, local presence, and through their financial success). Most business owners have the opportunity to influence people more than a priest. A priest gets ~1 hour a week. Business owners have 40 hours with their employees and many hours with their customers.
If we pursue transformation of our hearts above all else, those hours spent with employees and customers are hours they spend with Jesus through us. If we are transformed, then the love of Jesus will shine through us. Not because of our own power.
This is how we will change the culture. Imagine how many people God can touch through us if we allow Him to transform our hearts.
On top of that, if you build a successful business, you’re able to provide financially for your family and many others. In addition, you can become a substantial supporter of your local parish’s needs.
Successful businesses lead to more successful businesses. If you achieve financial success, you can invest in other Catholics to start their own businesses. It’s a multiplying effect—similar to God’s grace.
Given the way the world is going now, we need to be the examples more than ever. There is no time to waste.
WHAT is Catholic Founders
1. Content (Pod & Newsletter) 2. Community (CF Guild)
To help Catholic business owners integrate the Faith into their work, the first step is knowledge.
#1 Content | Catholic Founders Podcast + The Saintly CEO Newsletter
There are thousands of successful Catholic business owners out there. With tens of thousands of lessons. Through the podcast, we will find them, extract their lessons, and distill them down for you through our writing.
The Catholic Founders Podcast comes out every Thursday (plus a few bonus episodes here and there).
You can listen or watch here on Substack, or anywhere you get your podcasts by searching Catholic Founders. We’re also on YouTube.
Most episodes are around 1 hour long. The Saintly CEO comes out every Monday morning.
In each issue, you get tactical advice on how to integrate your faith into your business or pure play business advice through the lens of the Faith.
It also includes a short list of other Catholic entrepreneurs (Heavenly Hustlers).
And we include various resources, events, and other communities to join.
Both of these will be delivered to your email inbox each week. If you need to find them later on (or to look through past content) you can go to the main page and click on The Saintly CEO or Podcast tabs.
#2 Community | The Catholic Founders Guild
If we want to succeed, we can’t do this alone. To find a group of other Ambitious Catholics building businesses, join the Catholic Founders Guild today.
To join, become a paid supporter of this Substack (“Upgrade to Paid”). It’s $10/Month or $100/Year. We’ve priced it this way so anyone can afford it. We don’t want finances to be a barrier to join this.
This is for you if you are a Catholic business owner of any sort. Even if you have not started yet but are committed to becoming a business owner someday, this is for you. We love it when people consider how to integrate their Faith into their business even before they start.

WHO is Catholic Founders for?
Any Catholic business owner (current or aspiring).
If you’re a faithful Catholic, committed to using the skills God gave you to bring glory to Him on Earth, this is for you.
This is not just a social club or networking group. We expect members to be genuinely committed to expanding the kingdom of God.
Truth is too important not to share it. You don’t put your light under a basket. You put it on a stand to illuminate the room.
If you are committed to pursuing the transformation of your heart, this is for you. When we allow God to transform our hearts (when we invite Him in) we will become true instruments of Him in the world.
