This is an excellent reminder. We will always have challenges and suffering at different times, and in different ways; to be a Christian is to bear the cross. But hope can help us bear it well.
I don’t remember where I heard this, but I think of it often. “The thing you are praying for today will not be the thing you are praying for next year and it isn’t the thing you prayed for last year.” I think back to last year and the prayers I had then and this quote resonates so much. Our main business is in a beautiful new place and we started another now. We have two new grandbabies on the way now too. God is answering prayers and moving in our lives all the time. Deo Gratias!
Thanks for that. Yes. I have realized this. The things we think God is calling us to changes. Despite us being often convinced we know the long term direction. It’s all a journey.
