If you’ve ever seen those awesome socks with saints on them, you already know his work. What started as a fun side hustle in a spare bedroom has evolved into a massive in-house manufacturing operation.
In our conversation today, Scott walks us through the real-world mechanics of integrating Catholic Social Teaching into a business.
We talk about honoring the dignity of blue-collar workers and shifting away from a mindless “clock-in, clock-out” culture.
We also ended up speaking about the challenges of navigating a business failures when they happen.
And we discussed, one of my favorite topics, legacy and family business.
This is an incredibly insightful episode with a true legend in the Catholic entrepreneurship space.
Core Lesson:
God honors our forward momentum far more than our anxious over-discernment.
Many faithful entrepreneurs get completely paralyzed trying to figure out the perfect, divinely ordained path before making a move.
As Scott points out, God isn’t afraid of us failing. He wants us to put our talents to work, try new things, and trust that He will redirect us if we take a step in the wrong direction.
Experiencing setbacks provides the exact lessons we need to ultimately build resilient ventures that give Him glory.
