Lucas & Jessica Moser | Mosermade
We’re joined by Lucas and Jessica Moser for their very first podcast appearance. They are a married couple raising five young children on an acreage in rural Virginia, building a life centered on faith, family, and hard work.
Off their property, they run Mosermade — a family venture spanning custom woodworking, a sawmill, and an apiary (look at us using fancy words) with around fifty honeybee colonies.
They have built this out slowly over time through dedication to the long-term goals of the family and Lucas’ engineering job. Yes, he still works full time, and they do this.
This conversation genuinely inspired me because seeing how they have built their business ventures to all be in service of the family is just incredible. It also has the benefit of teaching their own kids the skills of entrepreneurship.

As I sat thinking after this conversation about what stood out most to me, it was easily this. That their business ventures clearly exist to help serve their family needs and goals. The money the business produces is ALSO in service of the business. They never sit down and plan how much they need to work in order to make x amount of dollars.
When I say I feel inspired by this incredible couple, I am not exaggerating. I really mean it.
Even though I’ve talked about things like this on the podcast and written about them in the newsletter in the past, seeing it in live action was really awesome.
